Families for Forests Day

Forests have long provided jobs, homes, and a good quality of life for our families
and communities across British Columbia. But times have changed. Large
corporations are profiting while local mills close, and the balance between a thriving
forestry industry and healthy ecosystems is being lost.

On Families for Forests Day, let’s come together to show our support for the
Biodiversity and Ecosystem Health Law – a proposed framework designed to
protect wildlife, clean air and water, and ensure a sustainable forestry industry that
prioritizes families, communities, and nature for generations to come.

Join your neighbours for a day of fun and action in support of B.C.’s forests!

This family-friendly event will feature activities for all ages, including a bouncy
castle, face painting, crafts, a stylish photo booth, cupcakes, and much more! It’s
a chance to celebrate together and show your support for a better future for BC’s
forests and communities.
