Trail RCMP request assistance identifying alleged tool thief

Trail and Greater District RCMP are seeking the public’s assistance to identify an alleged tool thief, who stole around $5000 worth of tools in August from a business in the 4300 block of Red Mountain Road, in Rossland.

On November 7, at 10:40am a frontline Trail and Greater District RCMP officer received a report about an alleged theft of tools that occurred on August 21, 2024.

Items taken included:

  • A Makita air compressor
  • Stihl law trimer
  • Milwaukee ½ inch impact drill
  • Tripod work lights
  • Extension cords

The suspect is described as a skinny Caucasian man with a beard, 20-30 years old, wearing a blue and white t-shirt, blue jeans, and red and black shoes.

His vehicle is described as a silver Subaru Impreza or WRX with a dent in the driver side door.
