109-million dollars is up for grabs as gamblers across the north are looking to buy their last-minute tickets for tonight’s (Tuesday) draw.
The Lotto Max jackpot – the largest in Canadian history – remains at 80 million while an additional 29 max million prizes are also available for the taking.
Shelley Wong with the BC Lottery Corporation told Vista Radio lotto retailers should be a little busier than usual.
“It’s true that anytime we do see such a large jackpot and we see a rise in Max Millions, we always see an increase in excitement from our players. Especially when they have the chance to win such a life-changing amount. I think we are going to continue to see that from our players right until the draw time.”
Nobody claimed Friday’s Lotto Max draw. However, three tickets purchased in Western Canada, Ontario and, Atlantic Canada got six out of the seven numbers correct plus the bonus.
The value of those tickets are a little over $355,000 each. The winning numbers from Friday’s draw were 6, 17, 26, 29, 30, 39, 49 and 2 (bonus).
The deadline to buy your ticket is 7:30pm.
