The person who coined the phrase “That’s using your head” did have this in mind.
Trail RCMP say a 30-year-old Rossland man doesn’t remember running head-first, at top speed into the side of a neighbour’s house on Cook Ave.
However, he does remember taking a drug.
RCMP say he was taken to hospital to check out his head. There was no damage to the house.
Meanwhile, the Easter Monday chocolate bandit didn’t get far.
Trail RCMP say the 31-year-old city man accused of taking arm loads of candy from a business on Victoria St was slowed considerably by his stash.
The officer called him by name and asked the man to stop during his less than fleet-footed getaway.
The booty of bars were strewn across the ground when the culprit was caught.
RCMP say he was released on several conditions including staying away from the store where the heist took place.
The suspect is scheduled to appear in Rossland Provincial Court on May 29.
