The man accused in a series of armed robberies in our area last year is expected to plead guilty to eight counts.
Andrew Stevenson is due back in a Nelson courtroom April 28th.
He was charged in hold-ups at credit unions and a gas station in Castlegar, Nelson, and Robson.
A crown prosecutor says the eight charges Stevenson will admit to encompass all his alleged crimes.
He originally faced more than 20 counts.
He’s been in custody since last April and is presently serving a five-month sentence for an escape attempt prior to a court appearance in September.
His co-accused Krista Kalmikoff will stand trial but a date hasn’t yet been set.
