VISAC Member’s Salon: Show and Sale 2024

The VISAC Gallery is proud to announce our fi First Annual VISAC Member’s Salon: Show and Sale. The Salon is a celebration of the immense talent of local visual artists. We are so inspired by the skill and variety of the artists who call the West Kootenay region home and are excited to share this work with the public and folks who might not otherwise be able to experience art in this way.

As a community-based gallery, we play an essential role in supporting and promoting emerging and established artists in the West Kootenay region.  We foster emerging talent, assist in providing greater recognition for more established artists, and offer viewers a new way of experiencing art.

At the heart of the exhibition are the artists in our community. Anyone who is a member of the VISAC can submit an application to take part by September 15. We encourage both emerging and experienced artists to apply. We will notify successful artists by September 17. There is more information about both becoming a member and submitting for the exhibition on our website.

We invite the community to celebrate the opening of the  exhibition on September 26 from 5:00 pm – 7:30 pm. Everyone is welcome to attend and show our support for the artists. The exhibition will continue until November 7, 2024.
